Municipalities
  •  One of the nation's largest ports retained Russ Reid to secure $12 million for dredging its main harbor channel.  In addition, we secured Section 11 Language, which enables the port to be reimbursed by the federal government for $15 million a month for infrastructure improvements.
  • An Illinois municipality retained Russ Reid to secure major federal dollars for bridge construction, wastewater infrastructure, and law enforcement technology.  Russ Reid has helped secure more than $7 million, and counting...
  • After helping a municipality secure $750,000 for a road project, and $700,000 for first responder communications equipment, Russ Reid then assisted the city with a competitive grant through the Department of Transportation.
Colleges and Universities
  • A large community college asked Russ Reid to secure funding for capital improvements, curriculum expansion, and nursing. Russ Reid succeeded in securing more than $1.6 million within two years.
  • A private university asked Russ Reid to win federal support for its efforts to improve its math, science, and nursing facilities, equipment, and programs.  Russ Reid has helped secure $2.7 million so far, and is now leading an effort to garner federal support for some of the university’s priority policy initiatives.
  • A major urban public school system retained Russ Reid to identify which of its initiatives would resonate with the Congress. Russ Reid has helped secure more than $1.8 million for allied health career programs and initiatives for at-risk youth. Recently, Russ Reid has positioned this major public school system as a trusted advisor to its congressional delegation on issues related to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Reauthorization and its impact on city schools nationwide.
  • A foreign university based in Costa Rica retained Russ Reid to explore federal support. We successfully delivered major funding for academic programs, research, and even scholarships -- essentially, every year for nearly a decade.
  • As part of a major capital campaign, a seminary asked Russ Reid to pursue federal funding.  We secured $3.1 million through the Highway Bill for the seminary to build a pedestrian mall and make streetscape improvements.
Hospitals and Medical Centers

  • On behalf of a coalition of hospitals, Russ Reid helped preserve a major NIH grant program that was threatened with elimination. We succeeded.

Social Service Agencies
  • Faced with burdensome federal tax code proposed changes, a coalition of faith-based homeless shelters hired Russ Reid to stop these new provisions -- a legislative victory that saved these nonprofits millions of dollars annually.
  • Faced with severe potential federal budget cuts, an international NGO hired Russ Reid to preserve $121 million in funding for HIV-AIDS prevention and education. We did it.
  • To fulfill its strategic plan to expand its facilities and programs, a social service agency that helps adolescents retained Russ Reid to secure federal funding.  So far, we’ve secured $3.9 million.
